A Shade Colder. Uncertain Terriories

The 2025 spring issue looks at how both physical and mental territories around us are in constant flux – be it due to political or economic uncertainty, both of which often have dire consequences for art and culture, not to mention the well-being of people forced to navigate these circumstances.

The issue features contributions from writers and artists from Estonia, Germany, Ukraine, Finland, Latvia, and Sweden, including: Maria Kapajeva, Katrin Kivimaa, Sten Ojavee, Jaan Toomik, Kai Kaljo, Anu Juurak, Bohdan Bunchak, Cathrin Mayer, Johanna Rannula, Olga Tjurina, Olivia Soans, Maria Metsalu, Mariam Elnozahy, Margit Säde, Jaakko Pallasvuo, Krista Kodres, and Elīna Ķempele.

The cover features Serpent (2025), a work by Terje Ojaver.

The new issue is available on the magazine’s web shop and at a variety of stockists both in Estonia and internationally. Half of the proceeds of the sales of the first issue will be donated to the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund.
